When off the track and back home, he is just as relatable as everyone else and prefers the Hilux for his daily driving. The continued use of his 2006 Toyota Hilux, reflects Ricciardo’s affinity towards dependable utility vehicles.
Porsche 918 Spyder
What would your first splurge be after achieving success in Formula 1?
$845,000 on a 1-of-918 Porsche Spyder of course!
Ricciardo uses his 918 to zip around Monaco where he spends most of his time during the off-season. While he loves the 918, Daniel has famously stated that “Everything feels a bit slow after an F1 car”!
2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS
Cementing his status as a Porsche aficionado, Ricciardo added to his collection with a 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS. Along with many F1 drivers, he appreciates the automotive artistry of Porsche and the superior driving experience their vehicle lineup offers.
Ford F-150 Raptor
For the times Ricciardo needs a power boost, the Ford F-150 Raptor offers a supercharged element to his off-roading. Described as the ultimate beast, the F-150 combines a high-performance engine, impressive off-road technology, and a tough build to conquer any off-road (or on-road) driving.
Renault Megane RS
His stint at Renault was short and sweet. During his tenure with the F1 team, he was given the Renault Megane RS hot hatch for his trips to and from the teams factory.
McLaren 765LT
After finishing his contract with Renault, Ricciardo joined the McLaren team for the 2021 Formula 1 season as a replacement for Carlos Sainz Jr. Similar to Renault, he needed an 'everyday' car for his daily commute to and from the test track. McLaren 675LT
Ricciardo's appreciation for McLaren began well before his recruitment as their driver. The McLaren 675LT has been a long standing feature in his personal collection. He is often spotted driving the electric blue supercar around his adopted home Monaco (as pictured here).
Polaris General ATV
Never one to shy away from off-roading adventures, it comes as no surprise the Polaris General ATV features in Ricciardo's garage. Housed in his Australian farm, it's safe to assume the General is regularly used when visiting home.
Aston Martin V12 Vantage S
Starting his Formula One career with Red Bull, Ricciardo was promoted as a replacement driver for the retiring Mark Webber. Webber made his mark in Formula One leaving a strong legacy for the young Australian to fill. During his very successful 4 years with Red Bull, Aston Martin were partnered with the energy drink company at the time. Ricciardo took this opportunity to add the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S to his collection.
Aston Martin Valkyrie
During his Red Bull years, Ricciardo was given the opportunity to acquire the Aston Martin Valkyrie. One of two allocated for Australia, the Valkyrie is currently in development in conjunction with the Red Bull F1 team. For most, it would be a $3 million collector’s item, but for Ricciardo, we hope he'll use this in both their natural habitat: the track.
