What's new in the 2027 Mitsubishi Pajero?
The new Pajero has been redesigned with an updated powertrain, advanced 4WD technology and a more refined interior. Here are some of the standout features.
A bold new design
The Pajero retains its signature boxy shape but introduces sharper lines, prominent wheel arches and distinctive T-shaped headlights. Its rugged exterior reflects the vehicle's off-road heritage, wile the updated styling gives it a more modern appearance.
A powerful diesel engine
Under the bonnet sits a 2.4-litre turbocharged diesel engine producing 150kW of power and 480Nm of torque. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, it is designed to deliver responsive performance and a smoother driving experience.
Built for adventure
The new Pajero features Mitsubishi's Super Select 4WD-II system, Super-All Wheel Control and seven selectable driving modes. With 230mm of ground clearance and a 3,500kg braked towing capacity, it is equipped for camping trips and more challenging off-road adventures. Towing capacity is subject to vehicle and loading limits.
More comfort for the whole family
Inside, the Pajero offers five or seven seats depending on the variant, a redesigned dashboard and improved cabin insulation. Digital displays, wireless smartphone connectivity and flexible seating arrangements make it a practical option for everyday driving and longer family road trips.
How much will the 2027 Mitsubishi Pajero cost in Australia?
The new Pajero is due in Australian showrooms from December 2026. Pricing starts at $68,490 before on-road costs for the five-seat GLS.
